Roeselare, 17 February 2009 – Times of crisis create new opportunities. New sectors see the light of day or are given an extra impulse and lead the way to society. The organic and eco sector is one of those sectors. Ecological awareness is no longer the domain of the happy few but has become mainstream. High time in other words to give this ecological undercurrent a forum in a contemporary and accessible context. Enter: ECOPOP, the reference fair for organic & eco-friendly living on 6 and 7 March 2010 at Kortrijk Xpo. |
ECOPOP, a fair to look, learn, discover and do...ECOPOP is an initiative of event company Twice|Promotheus, Inc. for Kortrijk Xpo. Two references in their respective fields have joined forces - in already tried and tested partnerships with Bioforum Vlaanderen, Greensleep and Bioplanet – to turn ECOPOP into a unique (inter)national event. In addition to awareness and information, ECOPOP wants to set itself apart through its interactive, entertaining and hands-on approach. Visitors will not only find out how to lead a high-quality eco-friendly life, they can also taste, test and sample things in the many experience zones in and around Kortrijk Xpo. |
Want to take part? Naturally!ECOPOP, which targets a broad public from all ages and layers of the population, invites both dynamic market leaders and small, innovative companies to take part. Over the course of two days and with a minimum investment, participants will meet countless potential partners and customers. A strong media campaign in Belgium – Roularta Media Group and RTL are our strategic partners – will guarantee the necessary impact and added value for all exhibitors.
The hand that rocks the cradle rules the world: through a tailor-made programme for schools and youngsters, ECOPOP helps exhibitors get a young public interested in an organic, eco-friendly and sustainable lifestyle. Or, in other words, to conquer the hearts of tomorrow's customers. |
From A to Z, the world of ECOPOP in 5 zonesFrom Alternative energy to organic Zucchini ... ECOPOP brings the entire organic and eco-friendly market under one roof in a conveniently arranged set-up. Manufacturers, service providers, institutions and associations are broken down into 5 colour-coded main sectors and sub groups which will be well signposted at Kortrijk Xpo. The working titles of these 5 zones are: lifestyle, construction, food & drinks, government & associations and – finally – technology & environment. |
To live up to the fair's great ambitions, a smart communication campaign is essential. By entering into strategic alliances with specialised media such as PUUR, BioContact, GREEN.2, etc. an excellent reach within the 'green target group' is guaranteed. To also reach the general public, a mix of television commercials, advertisements, posters and radio spots will be tailor-made for all target groups (ECOPOP already has the support of a number of titles of the Roularta Media Group). And through our own well-developed media – including our own website which has been conceived as a portal site for the sector – the communication circle is complete. |
Saying what we do and doing what we sayA fair with a current and social relevant theme such as ECOPOP's is all about credibility. Saying what you do and doing what you say – in short: setting a good example – goes without saying. But can we also live up to this promise? Absolutely! From all printed matter to the choice of material of the stands, from organic catering to sustainable mobility (public transport)... ECOPOP sticks to its principles and will have the lowest possible ecological footprint. |
Love the world around you and it will love you...... and that also applies to ECOPOP. Anything that applies to the exhibitors (the aforementioned dynamic market leaders and innovative starters) also applies to the public: everyone is welcome, from the die-hard adherent to green principles to the curious sceptic or the green occasional consumer. Hence the democratic price policy: both the participation fees for the exhibitors and the entrance fees for the general public are kept low. |
This is only the beginning...After a long maturing process and a further refinement of the concept working closely with different, enthusiastic players in the market, ECOPOP is now on the verge of something very interesting. Our concept will be explained in an extensive and eco-friendly brochure which shows the ins and outs of ECOPOP. Do you also want to be part of ECOPOP and receive this brochure?
